All-aluminum chassis

The vehicle features an all-aluminum chassis which reduces overall weight yet offers outstanding strength, ductility, corrosion resistance, and thermal conductivity. These attributes significantly enhance the vehicle’s performance, safety, and durability across all terrains, while also improving the driving experience for occupants.

Front double wishbone + rear H-arm multi-link suspension

  • The all-aluminum front and rear suspensions greatly reduce unsprung mass, improving both maneuverability and comfort while driving.
  • The front suspension employs a double wishbone design, while the rear uses an H-arm multi-link structure. This combination ensures precise wheel angle control and improved tire contact with the road surface.
  • With its outstanding tuning flexibility, the ROX 01 offers a wide array of suspension settings, allowing users to effortlessly tackle diverse and challenging terrains.

DCC adaptive suspension

  • It offers four suspension modes: Comfort, Standard, Sport, and Off-road.
  • In city driving, it strikes a perfect balance between control and comfort, ensuring a smooth ride. For long-distance off-road journeys, it effectively absorbs bumps and rough terrain, providing a comfortable ride.

Special terrain modes

For sand, water, snow, mud, and mountainous terrain, the vehicle intelligently adjusts power distribution, chassis settings, and ESP logic, making exploration and adventure easier and safer.

  • Over 87% of the body is made from high-strength steel, with over 32% constructed from hot-formed boron steel.
  • Experience unparalleled safety with the ROX 01, which has earned a five-star C-NCAP rating and a perfect score in the CIRI crash test. 

High-strength roof

  • Peak roof resistance of 159,730 N, setting a new record in CIRI crash tests.

The CATL 5-series ternary lithium battery offers superior temperature control and enhanced safety features. It features flame-retardant insulation, directional pressure relief and exhaust systems, active smart cooling, fast cut-off with smart fuses, comprehensive BMS dynamic monitoring, and big data-driven active warnings. These technologies ensure compliance with the ‘no open flame’ safety standard.
